TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ACCEPTANCE AND INTERPRETATION 
1.                    All members shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. It is the member’s responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions before signing the application form. As such, by signing the application form the member is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by them.
2.                    The decision to accept this application shall be at the absolute discretion of Pakkan Karate Club.
3.                    If Pakkan Karate Club accepts it, membership of the club by the applicant shall commence upon the date of acceptance.
4.                    "Acceptance” by Pakkan Karate Club of the application for membership shall constitute a binding agreement between Pakkan Karate Club and the member.
5.                    Terms and Conditions of membership and the rules and regulations of the club as are from time to time in force.
6.                    Pakkan Karate Club will process any issue arising within these Terms and Conditions.
7.                    Pakkan Karate Club are the sole authority for interpreting the Terms and Conditions and for settling all disputes relating to the meaning or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions or by any bylaws made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the affairs of Pakkan Karate Club and the conduct of the members or their guests.
8.                    Pakkan Karate Club reserves the right to add to, delete from or otherwise from time to time amend these Terms and Conditions.

PAYMENT TERMS 
9.                    Fees are payable in advance, as per package selected by the member and subject to acceptance. The first payment which each member will be required to pay upon joining Pakkan Karate Club will be a “starter payment” calculated pro-rata to the appropriate monthly Standing order payment by reference to the number of days between the date on which membership commences and the last day of the month following that in which membership commences (both days inclusive).
10.                Pakkan Karate Club shall give the member not less than 10 days written notice of any increases in the monthly fees.
11.                Any member wishing to terminate their membership can do so at any time on a seven days after three months membership with one month written notice.
12.                Pakkan Karate Clubs normal classes and the hours in which any facilities within Pakkan Karate Club are available to members are obtained from the secretary upon request. Such hours may be lengthened or shortened at the absolute discretion of Pakkan Karate Club with or without any prior notice been given to members. Pakkan Karate Club shall endeavor to give reasonable notice of any lengthening or shortening of such hours and of when any classes or facilities may not be available.

LIMITATION OF LIABILTY
13.                Pakkan Karate Club cannot be held responsible for any services or equipment available for whatever reason.
14.                Pakkan Karate Club reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the type of facilities provided without notice, to its absolute discretion and Pakkan Karate Club shall not be liable of any loss occasioned by such alterations.
15.                It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that he/she is capable of undergoing the normal routine of exercises provided by the programme/class. Not all exercises are suitable for everyone and any exercise programme/class may result in injury.
16.                Members accept the risk of injury from performing the normal routine of exercises. To reduce the risk, members should consult their Doctor before beginning any programme or class.
17.                In the interest of safety no glass whether bottle, jar or drinking glass may be taken into the exercise area, or changing area. Further more members are asked not to bring bags and personal possessions into the exercise area.
18.                For security reasons, please do not bring any jewellery or other valuables into the premises. Pakkan Karate Club does not except responsibility for any such items left on the premises, which are brought in at the members risk.
19.                Pakkan Karate Club accepts no responsibility for loss of or any damage to property of members or guests, nor for injury to members or guests on Pakkan Karate Club premises.

GENERAL
20.                Members shall give written notice to Pakkan Karate Club of any change of address. Failing such notice, all communication shall be presumed to have been received within 5 days of mailing to the last address notified to Pakkan Karate Club.
21.                Pakkan Karate Club reserves the right to refuse admission.
22.                All members are asked to wear the appropriate form of dress.
23.                Alcohol or smoking is not permitted in and around any training area or facilities used by any Pakkan Karate Clubs.
24.                Pakkan Karate Club reserves the right to expel any member whose conduct is such as shall, in its opinion, be injurious to the character of Pakkan Karate Club, or be detrimental to the interest of its other members.
